  • New! Monthly on Thursday at 6pm ET and Sunday at 4pm, virtual with replay

    First class on 2/19

Yoga Nidra is a meditative technique, practiced lying down in Savasana, allowing awareness to move through the layers of the being. This practice often leads to deep rest and relaxation, and can provide a much needed respite from our culture of “doing.”‍ ‍

Yoga Nidra can be approached as a standlalone meditation practice or Sadhana, as well as a preparation for advanced meditation techniques, and allows the benefits of an asana practice to be fully integrated. By learning how to move through a systematic relaxation process, we develop deeper awareness of the subtle body and the mind.

This virtual group meets twice per month and offers a unique, eight-stage Yoga Nidra, with an emphasis on community building, and includes time for sharing and questions.

Participants will be invited to consider any intentions they wish to be amplified by the practice.

This class meets over zoom, the practice will recorded and downloadable to all registrants .

  • Thursday February 26 at 7:30pm ET

This online monthly group will provide a therapeutic application of Reiki for moving through grief and loss. Reiki provides the primary venue for somatic healing, with an experiential practice offered each session. Each session will introduce a theme for each group related to various tasks or stages of the grieving process, drawn from 15+ years of experience in grief counseling. Ideas will be explored in group discussion, and then connected with the meditative aspects of Reiki practice to integrate the learning.

All who are coping with loss are welcome to this group— whether you have experienced the death of significant person or a pet, if it was recent or years ago, if you are coping with a more ambiguous loss (such as someone who is physically present but emotionally absent), or if you or someone you love are coping with significant illness, this group offers a space to be supported.

The themes presented will relate to the universal experiences that comprise processing loss. Participants may attend individual groups and explore a single theme, or may attend monthly and receive support on an ongoing basis. Reiki is uniquely suited to the existential nature of grieving, providing much-needed physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort when grappling with the experiences of death and dying.

  • 4 week series starts May 12 at 7pm ET, virtual with Replay

This series will take the place of the Community Yoga Nidra practice from May 12 - June 2

This series proposes that through connection with the deepest aspects of Self, one can access wisdom and inspiration that is both personal and beyond the personality. In order to awaken this inner muse, we must navigate the terrain of the subtle body to activate the flow state. Individual life experiences directly influence the subtle body, either enhancing inspiration or hindering expression — but it is also possible to consciously support the subtle body towards flow.

Using Yoga Nidra — a meditative technique based in Tantra for moving awareness through layers of the being — each session will guide participants to tune the subtle body, releasing emotional tension or creative blocks, and enhancing connection to a source of inspiration. Each week will present a unique Yoga Nidra practice to support creativity.

The first meeting will include time to formulate an intention for the series, which will be amplified in the Yoga Nidra practices. There will be time after each practice to share experiences and questions, and to begin a creative process if desired. Suggestions will be provided for those who wish to expand this series into a Sādhanā (dedicated spiritual practice) for creativity.
